Oatmeal Facials You can Make At Home

Using simple ingredients found in your kitchen, you can give yourself almost the exact same facial that would cost you an arm and a leg at a spa. Natural ingredients make for the best facials. One of the best ingredients to cleanse and moisturize your skin is oatmeal. Lots of people use oatmeal in body products. To help cleanse and moisturize your skin, try one of the following oatmeal based facials.

In your microwave, warm up half a cup of water. Mix together some instant oatmeal, some honey, a tablespoon of cinnamon, and toddlers' milk in a bowl. Add the water to the bowl of ingredients and mix together thoroughly until you have a paste. Before applying the paste to your face, test the temperature so you don't burn your skin. Avoid your eyes, but otherwise spread evenly over your face. Allow the paste to sit on your skin for 30 to 60 minutes. Use papaya soap, which can be found in the organic section of your grocery store, and water to wash off the mask. Use whatever soap you have on hand if you don't want to use papaya soap.

Mix together a third of a cup of oatmeal with a half cup of hot water.

Let this sit a few minutes to thicken. Now take a few tablespoons of yogurt, honey and an egg white and mix well to ensure the egg is completely mixed in. Thoroughly mix all ingredients together. Use your finger tips to evenly spread mix onto your skin avoiding your eyes. Ten to fifteen minutes is all it takes for your skin to tighten and the mix to dry. You can use a warm cloth to rinse or simply take a shower and rinse there.

Chop of a tomato-the whole thing, skin, seeds, etc. Add a tablespoon of oatmeal and a teaspoon of lemon juice. Use a blender to combine ingredients into a paste that will be a coarse texture. Follow your normal washing routine.

You should apply this mixture after thoroughly rinsing cleanser, to your face and neck. After enough time has passed that the mix is beginning to dry you can rinse with tepid water.

You probably already have all the necessary ingredients to make these simple recipes. Doing so will save you money while also giving you the beautiful skin that you've been hoping to have for so long. Why spend a bunch of money at a spa when you can get the same treatment without leaving the comfort of your own home?
